You Won’t Always Feel Like It. Do It Anyway.
I recently signed up for a new training that’s completely outside my comfort zone.
I’m not doing it because I have heaps of free time. (Spoiler: I don’t.)
I’m not doing it because I feel fully ready. (Also… I don’t.)
I’m not even doing it for fun. (It is scaring the crap out of me!)
I’m doing it because I want to live in integrity with what I teach.
Because when I ask my students to show up for themselves – even when they’re tired, overwhelmed, busy, or unsure – I want you to know that I am doing the same thing. I want to remember what it’s like to be the beginner. To be the one figuring it out. To choose discomfort for the sake of growth.
And I want to walk my talk.
The truth is, none of us are ever really “ready.” There’s no perfect timing. No empty calendar. No golden window where everything aligns and it finally feels easy.
You just decide it matters. And then you make it work.
That’s what I’m doing with this training. I’ve shuffled my week, had some late nights, reworked priorities, and said no to other things – because this matters to me.
And when something matters, you find a way.
(And when it doesn’t… you find an excuse.)
Yoga teaches us to do the thing – even when we don’t feel like it.
Yogis are some of the most disciplined people I have met.
You’ve heard me say it in class: the magic is in the repetition.
Not the one perfect class. Not the day you’re feeling super inspired.
It’s in showing up again and again, even when you’re stiff, sore, distracted, tired, or just “meh.”
And when you do that often enough, something starts to shift.
Your nervous system softens.
Your mental chatter quiets.
Your body feels more like home.
Your confidence grows – not because everything is perfect, but because you showed up anyway.
That’s what this practice is about.
Not motivation, but momentum.
Not perfection, but progress.
Not convenience, but commitment.
Which brings me to you.
We’re running the Strong + Stretchy Challenge from Sunday 21 September to Sunday 5 October, and it’s not about being the fittest or the strongest or ticking every box.
It’s about practicing integrity with yourself.
It’s about choosing the path that nourishes you—even when your brain throws out every excuse in the book.
It’s about having the strength to stick with something and the flexibility to make it work within your real life.
So whether you’ve fallen out of routine, or you’re craving a reset before the end of the year—this is your invitation to show up.
Not because it’s easy.
Because it’s so worth it.
Here’s how to join:
If you’re a Studio or Virtual Member:
The challenge is FREE for you (we’ve got your back).
If you want the limited-edition Strong + Stretchy tee, it’s just $40—and all you have to do is come to 10 classes over the two weeks.
If you’re not a member (yet!):
Grab the Strong + Stretchy Pass for $139, and join us for unlimited classes over the two weeks.
If you hit 10 classes, you’ll get the tee too.
Because we don’t just want you to join—we want you to keep going.
Final thought:
Strength isn’t just physical.
Stretching isn’t just about flexibility.
Mobility isn’t just movement – it’s momentum.
And yoga isn’t just about the poses – it’s about personal standards, integrity, and learning to show up for your life.
If that’s something you’re ready for, this challenge is waiting for you.

Let’s finish the year strong (and stretchy).
Let raise our personal standards together

Being consistent and showing up on days that i just dont feel like it is something I am working on. It’s hard but
so rewarding at the same time
